Annie School Net Conference 2024

作为马来西亚的代表，新纪元大学学院媒体研究系——BBCC事实查核小组参与了在越南举行的Annie School Net Conference。大会聚集了来自越南、印度、印尼、日本、香港、菲律宾及马来西亚的老师和同学们，他们各自分享了在推广事实查核及打击假新闻方面的成果与挑战。让我大开眼界的是，每间大学都呈现了不一样的演讲风格，从中体现出不同国家的文化背景，非常创新和有趣，而我也从中收获了许多演讲技巧。

这是我和我的搭档罗方柳同学第一次在这么多不同国家的朋友面前进行分享与演讲，整个准备和发表的过程是那么地刺激和兴奋。而享受聆听记录与学习的过程，永远是最有趣和轻松的。

我们一行四人，包括两位讲师和两名学生，带着半工半玩的心态来到越南。非常感谢两位讲师在旅程中给予的帮助和鼓励。看完了所有大学的演讲，我发现我们还有很大的学习空间。然而，要强调的是你们的肯定大大增强了我们的信心，我们就像知道背后有坚强的后盾一样，即便紧张，也依然敢敢豁出去，勇敢地展现最棒的自己！

 Representing Malaysia, the BBCC Fact-Checking Team from the Department of Media Studies, New Era University College attended the Annie School Net Conference in Vietnam. Lectures and students from Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Malaysia shared their achievements and challenges in promoting fact-checking and combating fake news. Each region had a unique presentation style, which was very innovative and interesting, allowing me to unlock many presentation techniques. With my partner, Loh Yu Xuan, it was our first time presenting and sharing in front of friends from so many different regions, and the preparation and speaking process was so exciting. Enjoying the process of listening, recording, and learning is always the most fun and relaxing part.

There were four of us, two lectures and two students, coming to Vietnam with a mix of work and play. We are very grateful for the help and encouragement from our two lecturers during this journey. We have a lot of room for learning, and the affirmation you gave us greatly boosted our confidence, making us brave enough to give our best, knowing we have strong support behind us.
